Gaiamara
“She, the primordial, eternal and immortal Goddess of Earth and Sea. Love, Mother, Source: bestower of everlasting beauty and divine blessings of grace and mercy.”
I am
Mouse Bird
Mouse from my Mother, Robin, on the day I was born. Bird from the lineage of my father, Stoney. Of American, English, German, and Slavic descent; I was born in England to American parents and raised in the Pacific Northwest from 4 years of age.
I am an Ordained Minister, Priestess of the Rose, Bee Priestess of the Oracle Clan, and the founder of Gaiamara Temple. I specialize in the facilitation of broad spectrum Bodywork and Dreamwork, Conscious Connected Breathwork, Deep Body Movement, and Ritual. I also offer Mentorship for bodyworkers and practitioners of healing arts. I offer 1:1 and group sessions, rituals, retreats, and series in-person and online.
Teachers, Mentors, and Credentials here.
I am here to remember, inspire, and cultivate intuition, dreams and dreaming consciousness, oracular consciousness, embodied imagination, and authentic, creative expression. I invite you here.
I am here to create space for the whispers and the mystery of spirit to reveal itself, to remember and transmit the sacred teachings of the circle, the hoop, and the web. I am here to fortify and strengthen the web of connections between the visible and invisible dimensions. I am here to gather in circle to remember my place in the sacred circle and the web of life. I am here to receive guidance from invisible and visible dimensions, and to remember my divine nature as human being. I invite you here.
I am here to breathe, sing, move, dance, express, act and live in alignment with my truth, and in balance and mutual reciprocity with the web of life. I am here to nurture a culture of honoring; to tend to transitions, thresholds, and change. To create space for endings and beginnings. I am here to be in ritual, to hold space for grief and praise, celebration and conflict, tension and relaxation. I am here to hold space for the paradox. For the complexity, the contradictory and the strange. I am here to make mistakes and to remember curiosity, compassion, and grace. I am here to play and to create. I invite you here.
I am here to turn towards the taboo, the weird, the pathologized, the feared, the shamed, the repressed, and the ugly. I am here to embrace the full spectrum of my humanity. I am here to create space for my body and soul to express, and relinquish the oppressive programming that perpetuates the domination of mind over body, mind over matter, mine over mother. I am here to feel into my body, to expand my capacity to feel. To expand my capacity to be with energy as it moves and stirs in me. To turn towards thoughts, habits, patterns, behaviors that fortify and nourish relations within myself and within the circles of communities that surround me.
May we find each other in Gaiamara Temple, where we greet ourselves and each other as holy and sacred; as distinct and extraordinarily unique emanations and facets of the whole of creation. Of God, of Love, of the Universe, of Source, of Great Spirit. May we remember our divine nature as human being.

My Story
Not the whole thing, but some juicy tidbits.
My name is Mouse Bird, and I am a woman who bleeds. I say this because the Reverence of the Womb Blood is in the forefront of what I am here to honor and hold space for. My most profound awakenings have been centered around claiming, embodying and embracing my core feminine nature, wisdom, power, and channels of energy. The literal core, blood, and womb of my body and being in connection with earth womb and cosmic womb. I am here to steward the return of womb blood to the center of the circle and to a throne of reverence. I am here to meet people in the temple where we can receive each other as holy and sacred. I am here to remember ways and rites of honoring and acknowledging our divine nature as human beings and all of the web of life. I am here to remember and honor the technology of the circle, and to bring circles together.
From a very young age I was always very physically active and tended to thrive in spaces of movement. Soccer, skiing, hiking, biking, dancing, cheerleading, tennis, yoga. Anything and everything active that included my body, I loved. I have always loved the sense of power and prowess that I have felt as I experience the strength and dynamic adaptation of my body as it grows into different modalities of movement and training. These days my primary practice is authentic, intuitive movement; allowing my body the space and the grace to listen and explore through movement; whatever is desired or needed to find equilibrium, balance, and health. Whether it be for strengthening, stretching, resting, emoting, creating, praying, socializing and communicating, or playing. For me, dance, and uninhibited intuitive movement has always been a means of encountering the Divine. A space to surrender to the spirit that moves, and the intelligence and gifts that come from following the whispers and gestures of the soma. A space to give my body room to express and receive through movement and sound; letting life move me without having to know what or why, but learning to surrender to the inner dance that is always in motion. I move with my sensations, my emotions, my energy, my imagination, my thoughts, my dreams, my inquiries, my intuitions, my grief, and my joy. It is a physical, spiritual, emotional, and creative practice all-in-one.
Growing up in my family, we didn’t share much in the way of affectionate touch. In fact there is a history of violence and physical abuse. As a young person I longed desperately for touch, and was simultaneously confused and afraid of it. I knew its power and I wanted to understand it. In 2008 I quit my 5-year snowboard bum streak and went to become a Massage Therapist through comprehensive and holistic training with the Port Townsend School of Massage. Massage school is something that I wish every human being could experience. Receiving and practicing touch in a habitual and curious manner completely and utterly expanded and grounded my sense of myself, my body, and myself in the world. For me, touch has opened up dimensions of being and perception of the world that are mystical and timeless while grounded in the magic of deep, embodied presence. I have been healed and transformed through the medicine of touch more times that I can count. I have never once in my 18 years as an apprentice to the art and medicine of touch, doubted our innate need for touch. In complete truth, I understand touch as fundamental to our whole-being health as individuals and as a community.
I pray that we can remember how to be a people that values, understands, and has skill in sharing touch with one another. That we can remember and acknowledge our essential need for touch, that it affects every facet of our being. I pray that loving, attuned, reverent and consensual touch be abundant and celebrated.
I am here to offer touch as a means to support, nurture, and witness your multi-dimensional journey as a human being. Over the past 18 years I have studied with countless teachers of different modalities of touch including reflexology, acupressure, traeger, craniosacral therapy, reiki, structural integration, myofascial release and more. I am certified and endorsed in intra-oral massage and breast massage. I am here to help women to create healthy, reverent, empowered relationships with their chests, breasts, and female bodies through touch and bodywork.
In 2019 I woke up to dreams. I began waking up with a vivid recollection of my dreams after having a nearly non-existent care, understanding, nor relationship with dreams. The dream gate opened, and all of a sudden I was flooded with images and a stream of consciousness that I had never experienced before. I became fascinated with dreams and dreaming and dove headlong into an exploration of this mysterious and universal human experience. I read nearly 20 books about dreaming and gave myself over to various practices of cultivating dreaming consciousness. I joined dream groups and started holding space for the community to share and tend to dreams. I trained with many teachers including Robert Moss and Jane Teresa Anderson. I felt as though the dreamfire had been ignited within my soul. It became clear to me that another task I am here to steward is that of reclaiming the sacred and innate human nature of embodied imagination. We are here in the time of technology and AI. I am here to help us remember the profound beauty and gift of our imaginations, and the necessity to remember and activate our senses and organs of perception so that we can include and be in a conscious and co-creative relationship with the web of life. I am here to invite space for the dreams and the imagination to be danced and embodied and witnessed and shared. I am here to help folks to wake up within their dreams and realize their own innate creative power and wisdom in crafting their life, and being in reciprocal relationship with their dreaming consciousness and the web of life.
In the Fall of 2021 I was served a wild initiation from the Goddess. I entered into a 3-day spontaneous trance during the conjunction of my blood time, an atmospheric river flood event, and a Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse, all at Samhain. I entered into spaces in my psyche and soma that left me reeling in terror, bewildered and confused. I felt like I had encountered an essential aspect of embodied feminine consciousness that had been abandoned millennia ago. I felt as though I made contact with a part of myself and my ancestry that hadn’t been embodied for generations. I felt the accumulation of all of the feminine power that had been demonized, controlled, shamed, abused, enslaved, and demeaned, in my womb line blood line and I fell into a fury of pain. I was also flooded with visions of healing; ceremonies and circles of people gathering together to remember, to reweave, to return to our recognition and honoring of our connection to the web of life. I was shown that I needed to find a circle of people to help me to express and transmute the enormity of grief and rage that I was experiencing in the wake of remembering 2000 years of internal and external abuse of the feminine. I descended into a deep, dark, and terrible place.
I tried my best to follow the wisdom of the visions. I had been guided to the medicine and practice of ritual theatre, and into my first spiritual mentorship with the Lineage of the Rose. Six months after the initiation, on Beltane, I entered into my first grief ritual, held by 4 elders for 4 days on Orcas Island. With the support of grounded and intentional ceremony; in integrity and acknowledgement with the web of life; 4 directions, 3 worlds, visible, invisible, human, and more-than-human; I was able to relinquish the rage, and brought this ancient and primordial feminine intelligence back into coherence in my body. This grief ritual served to clear an enormous amount of stuck energy, and integrate the wild radiance and life force of the feminine spirit. It was as if all of the unexpressed rage, sorrow, anguish, and terror of my grandmothers was able to express. I opened my mouth to scream and it was as if I was screaming from the catacombs of time. Deep, timeless grief. Letting this expression through resulted in a profound shift in posture, experience, and spirit. All of a sudden I was more deeply seated in myself and had access to generous and abundant energy. Miraculous, one would say. Since then I have attended dozens of grief spaces, and have a regular practice of honoring and making intentional space for grief with myself and others in my life. I consider myself an apprentice to grief, and I certainly bow down to its majestic, terrible, and chaotic power. Giving myself over to the process of grief has been the hardest and most beautiful experience time and time again. I owe the depth of my love to the depth of my grief.
In 2023 I entered into apprenticeship with the Academy of Oracle Arts, where I have been studying divination, channelling, ritual theatre, and ritual leadership. I am a member of the Oracle Clan, and I am here to help people to remember the innate wisdom that lies within their grounded sensitivity. I am here to remember how to cultivate my innate ability to tap into my senses and collective intelligence to receive guidance from the web of life so that I may live in balance and reciprocity with all of my relations, visible and invisible, human, and more-than-human. I am here as a leader and collaborator of ritual and ceremony that honors and respects individual and community thresholds and rites of passage. Over the years I have held ritual space for grief, death, the lunar and solar cycles, creative expression, healing eros, birthdays, break-ups, births, marriages, and collective and ancestral healing. In 2025 I became ordained as a minister. I am remembering the wisdom and essential nature of including ceremony as a way of life, and how absolutely necessary this is for the health of our individual and inter-woven communal lives.
I discovered the medicine of altered-state breathwork while I was in the midst of a self-guided month-long solo dream-tending retreat in the Winter of 2023. I was immediately enamored as I found breathwork to be a universal means of encountering the spirit of life and is a practice that anyone can access. Breathwork has been practiced in different modes and traditions throughout the world since the beginning, and is an incredible means of finding health in body and mind. Whether a Pranayama breathing practice, altered-state breathwork journey, or the simplicity of a single conscious breath in, breathwork has opened the door to more presence and health in my life.
In 2025 I trained with Sword and Lotus to become a certified Conscious Connected Breathwork Facilitator. This method of continuous flow-state breathing for long periods of time induces slightly expanded states of consciousness that can be conducive to emotional release, nervous system regulation, creative inspiration, spiritual revelation, and so much more. Keeping a practice of breath has been tremendously helpful in tending to this human experience. Breathing in community has been a powerful and beautiful healing and orienting ceremony to return to again and again. I am here to guide folks into a deeper relationship to their breath and multi-dimensional nature as human beings.
In 2025, I also became certified as an Embodiment Facilitator through the Deep Body Institute. This training is one that has answered the call of a life-time. The Deep Body cosmology and method is one that is rooted in ancient indigenous practice; also alive and evolving through the generations of teachers devoted to tending authentic movement as a sacred science. Teachers that have cultivated practices that bridge psyche and soma, that we can become skilled and adept in tending to, inhabiting, and finding integration between all of the different dimensions of our being through expression of our soul embodied.
My offerings are intended to be nourishment for the web of life. May everything that I offer be like good food, feeding all of life for this generation and for all future generations to come. May we remember how to human. Together. Above and below, within and without. Weaving the rainbow tapestry in reverence and honor with all of our relations. Human and more-than-human, visible and invisible. Forwards, backwards, and in all directions.
I have created Gaiamara Temple to welcome and honor this sacred life with love and embodied presence. Welcome to the Temple. Thank you for being here. Thank you for being.
